Andrew Wiggins and his Minnesota Timberwolves are set to play the Raptors in Toronto tonight, which means the Canadian star will be making his first NBA appearance back home.
Raptors general manager Masai Ujiri has already stated that he wants to add Canadian born players to the roster soon.
“There is no doubt in my mind. . .during my time, even if my time is short, there will be a Canada playing for the Toronto Raptors, 100 per cent. I have no doubt in my mind, it’s something we think about every day, it’s something we study . . . the guys in the NBA, the ones outside the NBA, the younger kids, the kids in college, the kids playing overseas. We’re just waiting for that one to come.”
Ujiri went on to hint at Wiggins.
“We all know who he is, I’m not even going to say his name,” Ujiri said.
However, Wiggins seems to be loyal to Minnesota, for now at least.
"I love Minnesota. They treat me nice up there. I plan to be there a very, very, very long time.” Wiggins crushes Canada and Raptors fans.

Don’t get too happy Minnesota fans because we’ve seen this movie before.
