The Cleveland Cavaliers have a stranglehold on the 2nd spot in the Eastern Conference but the bottom portion of the East’s playoff bracket is far from decided.
The Cavaliers are facing the Celtics tonight, whom happen to be sitting in the 7th spot, and they’ve chosen to sit four of their starters. Coach David Blatt announced that LeBron, Kyrie, Love and JR Smith will all sit tonight but will play tomorrow vs the Pistons.
The Brooklyn Nets sit in the 8th spot and they’re considered one of the toughest match ups for a top seed in these playoffs. Brook Lopez has begun to figure things out in the post and Deron Williams has shown moments of exceptional play the past few weeks.
Their roster is far better on paper than the star-less Celtics.
If purposeful this may be David Blatt’s be coaching move of the season.
