It’s never to early to start recruiting the college football stars of the future. The Auburn Tigers are trying to get a head start on an eight grade phenom.
Owen Pappoe became the first 2019 prospect to receive a known offer from Auburn when the outside linebacker announced the news on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Crazy thing with him being an eight grader, but I assumed he was a defensive back. The 14-year-old from Logansville, Ga., is already 6-foot-1, 194 pounds, according to his profile page on 247Sports. He tallied 50 tackles (21 for loss) with 17 sacks and two interceptions last fall for Grayson while scoring 16 total touchdowns.
Pappoe has also received offers from Boston College, Miami and Tennessee in the past 10 days.
So thankful to @BCCoachWash @UTCoachThig @HurlieB blessed to have offers thanks #blessed pic.twitter.com/8E3X0G3fIg
