It’s no secret that the Dallas Cowboys are likely looking to take a running back in the upcoming NFL Draft after losing DeMarco Murray in free agency. It’s also no secret that the Cowboys are very much interested in drafting Wisconsin’s Melvin Gordon with their first-round pick.
And if recent events are any indication, it seems that Gordon has just as much interest in playing for the Cowboys. Gordon has even gone as far as to say that he would be a good fit behind the Cowboys offensive line in recent days. Then he took things a step further while appearing on the Jim Rome Show by actually wearing a Dallas Cowboys t-shirt, and totally getting called out on it by Rome.
This is looking more and more like a match made in heaven for the Cowboys and their fans. We’ll see if the team ends up taking Gordon during the NFL Draft in a little more than a week.
