Robert Griffin III seems to have a new outlook on playing quarterback for the Washington Redskins. The embattled quarterback told the Washington Post that “he’s done talking about being a great quarterback.”
His plan is to go out and play like one.
“It’s not about talking about it; it’s about being about it,” Griffin said in an interview with Fox News that will air this weekend (via The Washington Post). “That’s what my goal is this whole offseason. You gotta talk small, play big, take care of the little things so the big things fall into place.”
This new zen shown by Griffin III can lead him a long way if he maintains it. He also said he doesn’t mind if the Redskins draft another quarterback.
“The way I look at it is as long as I’m here with the Washington Redskins and they say I’m the guy, then I’m the guy,” Griffin said. “I’m ready to go.”
