In virtually a must-win game, Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo only played 10 minutes. When Mark Cuban traded for the former all-star back in December, something tells me he didn’t envision this scenario happening in his wildest of dreams.
Mavs head coach Rick Carlise and Rondo haven’t been on the same page at all, and that was on full display last night in Houston.
After the game, Carlisle appeared to take a shot at Rondo’s competitiveness.
Carlisle on Rondo and if he wanted to play. “You can ask him that. All I know is right now we need everyone at their competitive best."

Barring a miracle at this point, you can expect Rondo to be taking his talents elsewhere this summer.
