What started out as a terrible April Fools ended in a spectacular announcement. Ryan Reynolds and Mario Lopez began a spoof interview where they discussed that the Deadpool movie would be rated PG-13 while also bringing up Wolverine, where Reynolds first played the Merc with the Mouth. Well, the scene ended as Deadpool himself showed up and dropped AC Slater with a set light to the face followed by an F-bomb and the announcement that Deadpool would in fact be an R rated film.

Fans were worried that the studio would neuter all the adult themed spirit from the comic by making the film PG-13 so this announcement will be great news to those. Deadpool is currently filming in Vancouver and is scheduled for a February 2016 release. MercMer
