Soccer is one of those sports where guys get away with cheap shots all the time. The field is HUGE and things behind the play tend to get overlooked…BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS.
In the following video, we see Rubén de la Cuesta, who plays for Universitario de Sucre, blatantly club an opponent in his face following a takedown:
De la Cuesta’s immediate reaction is priceless. He’s so guilty he starts protesting the call, not even realizing the referee didn’t even catch the punch.
