Some may say Tyus Jones has extrasensory perception or ESP, but I say the Duke point guard is just confident.

In addition to predicting this year’s Final Four appearance while still in high school, Jones sent Coach K a text message after last year’s shocking loss to Mercer in the 2014 NCAA Tournament saying there would not be a repeat this year.
“I just told him ‘This won’t happen next year,'” Jones said. “Coming in I just wanted to be his point guard, be someone who can help this team. Quinn was obviously going to be the leader of this team, being a senior, [but I wanted] just to take a different type of leadership role and contribute.”
Jones’ play in big games has been one of the many bright spots for Duke this season and he’ll need to have another good game if the Blue Devils are going to defeat a tough Wisconsin team tonight.
