They never really got along, but the beef really started simmering when Jackson made this comment about Bogut’s shoulder injury last season.
“As far as I know, it wasn’t on the court,” Jackson said before the Warriors faced Philadelphia. “It wasn’t in practice. It wasn’t in a game. I’m not really sure. It may have been sleeping, and I say that in all seriousness.”
Bogut was not pleased….
“I just wanted to address that the sleeping comment is absolutely ridiculous,” Bogut said. “I don’t know where it came from. I don’t know if I should read between the lines with it. The frustrating thing is: I don’t know when I hurt it against Utah (on Jan. 31). I just know after that game, it was a little sore. It hasn’t gotten better.”
“I don’t know where (the sleeping comment) came from or if he heard that from the trainer or from somebody, but it’s definitely not the case,” Bogut said. “It’s not like I just woke up after sleeping on my shoulder wrong. I have a bone bruise and swelling in my shoulder. That coming from sleeping is very highly unlikely, I believe.”
After Jackson was fired and hired as an analyst for ESPN he threw some subtle shade at Bogut during a game against the Cavs.
“To me, a rim protector is overrated in this league,” Jackson said on the telecast. “No Andrew Bogut, their defense stays or even improves because of the identity, because of what they force you to do.”
Bogut once again was not pleased.
So much fake…….. #notsurprised

“Well, he gets paid to talk,” Bogut said. “He gets paid to give his opinion, and it’s one of those things you’ve got to deal with. Every coach is different. Some coaches value rim protection. Some coaches value ball movement. Some coaches don’t. It’s just a matter of each coach going toward what they believe is going to win them games.”
Bogut says he doesn’t hate Jackson, but there appears to be a STRONG DISLIKE.
