Bret Hart Calls Hulk Hogan a ‘Dirtbag’ Over Twitter

Bret

The excellence of execution known as the Bret “the Hitman” Hart had some strong words for the almighty Hulkster over #AskBret segment on Twitter.

A fan asks the question of what Hart’s opinion was of Hulk Hogan, and he responded, “@HulkHogan is a dirtbag, that says it all.”

Now of course, Hart and Hogan have never really gotten along. Hogan brought then the WWF to the national spotlight in the 80s to the early 90s, and when Hogan left he never really pushed Hart to lead the company, and always left the Hitman feeling sour. Not to mention, both were competing to be the most loved by owner Vince McMahon, and during the early 90s steroid allegations facing the WWF McMahon was forced to go in a different direction and the company pushed Hart as the lead guy.

The admiration was all very temporary, and Hart never got the proper recognition for the stability he brought to the company through the 90s, and it led to the famous ‘Montreal Screwjob’ at the 1997 WWF Survivor Series that ended with Hart spitting all over McMahon’s face.
