Ex-UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley played the waiting game this weekend, waiting pick after pick and round after round for his name to be called during the draft. Hundley waiting so long, he decided to change the channel.
“I came in my room and started watching some Family Guy. That was the only thing I had. I had a ping-pong table as well,” said Hundley
Hundley felt he should have been in the conversation with Jameis Winston and Marcus Mariota, who were picked 1st and 2nd overall, but his name wasn’t called until much later, with the 147th pick.
Hundley didn’t think he would find himself competing with another quarterback for a backup spot, but plans to make the most out of his situation.
“It’s a blessing in disguise and you know I have a chip on my shoulder, and I’m coming in to work, and that’s what’s I’ve come down to. I’m just coming in, I’ve got my opportunity. That’s the way I look at it. It’s a blessing in disguise.”
I think he is in a good situation. I know he wants to play and play right away but there is a lot he can learn from Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay Packers franchise, I just hope he can adjust to the cold weather.
