Under Armour may be most-known for their football footwear and apparel but the brand is making a huge leap into the world of soccer with their new UA SpeedForm FG.
The shoes are some of the lightest cleats available and the technology behind them can make the most novice futbol player feel like a pro.

The new UA SpeedForm FG, with its close-fitting low profile, seamless heel cup, one-piece upper and articulated toe box provides a customized fit with zero distractions. It also features a lightweight chrome boot plate for optimal traction to generate an explosive first step. The seamless, no-sock liner construction provides a natural connection to the ground to maximize acceleration and change of direction.
Josh Rattet, UA VP of Team Sports, is hyped to see these finally hit the market and believes that they have the ability to change the world of soccer footwear.
“We were relentless in our pursuit of understanding what was required by players who rely on speed and a quick first step as their weapons on the pitch,” said Josh Rattet, VP, Team Sports, Under Armour. “It became an obsession to build a speed boot that could be worn without a break-in period. If these speed boots are anything like UA’s football cleats then I’m sure it won’t take long for athletic consumers to realise that they need a pair of them.
The SpeedForm FG will be available in the US on 6/1 for $219.99 on UA.com and at select retail partners. It will launch around the world this summer.
