DeVante Parker out of Louisville was one of the top wide receivers in the draft. He was pretty sure he would be a first round pick but which team would draft him was unknown. Parker ended up being drafted 14th overall but the Miami Dolphins and no one was more excited than him mom. Raneca Parker wasn’t excited that her son was finally drafted, nor was she overwhelmed that he was taken by the Dolphins, she was just excited he wasn’t drafted by the Cleveland Browns.
“We didn’t want him going to Cleveland. They don’t have a team, really, or a quarterback. I knew I didn’t want the Cleveland Browns. I know the team’s he could go to and e teams he couldn’t go to. We were happy with the Miami Dolphins.hewas very ecstatic. We’re happy, we love the weather,” said Raneca Parker.
