Following a huge collapse of being upset in the second round of the NBA Playoffs to the Houston Rockets, a ugly rumor has surfaced between Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan not being on the best of terms.
Los Angeles Clippers Head Coach and General Manager Doc Rivers had this to say on the alleged ‘beef’.
“I can put this to rest: They get along great,” Rivers told Fred Roggin of The Beast 980 on Thursday. “Clearly, like everybody, they don’t get along all the time, and they don’t get along with me all the time, either, by the way. I don’t see that as an issue. I think all three, and I’m including Blake in this as well, understand how important the other guy is to them. Meaning, they all three need each other to win, and I think all three get that and all three know that and all three want to do it together. To me, that’s the most important thing.”
Now, three points come to mind with Rivers having to comment on this rumor.
One, the fact that Coach Rivers had to speak on the situation means there could very well be a situation.
Two, who better than Doc to explain this speculation considering he coaches Paul and Jordan everyday, so conceivably he would be a first-hand witness to this ‘beef’.
And three, Doc wouldn’t tell us if there was a beef because that’s the type of stuff one would think you keep in-house.
Neither Paul or Jordan, smartly have come out publicly to speak on the situation.
