I personally don’t have a problem with James Harden hitting the club or attending a concert the night before a game.
He is a grown man and can do whatever he wants to do. If he doesn’t care about the potential backlash, that is on him. There is always going to be backlash when you are spotted out the night before a game and then in turn struggle the next night. Harden and the Rockets as a whole struggled mightily in Game 3 and Harden was spotted at the club the night before with Drake.
It could be just a coincidence, but people are always going to connect those dots, fairly or unfairly. I am sure Harden knows this, but Drake is in town, the Rockets are about to get ushered out of the playoffs sooner than later, so I assume he feels like there is no need to stay at home and cry about it.
I hope he had a good time and plays well tonight, because if he doesn’t his weekends will be free for the rest of the summer.
Wonder if Drake performed 0-100……..
