With Kyle Korver out for the remainder of the playoffs with an ankle sprain, the Hawks are going with Kent Bazemore to take his spot. The Hawks are down 0-2 in the Eastern Conference Finals to the Cleveland Cavs and go into Cleveland tonight with a tough battle ahead.
Bazemore, how is known for his energy, should provide a different look for the Hawks. Defenses have been very helpful in stopping Kyle Korver’s effectiveness and Bazemore gives a strong boost on defense in addition to a deadly corner 3 shot.
Bazemore said on Friday night:
“I think we’re the better team. We just haven’t played like it yet.”
On Sunday after shoot arounds, Bazemore had a little more to say.
Kent Bazemore isn’t backing down from his comments about #Hawks being the better team. Said “I’m a realist” but believes in his teammates.

The NBA was able to catch up with Bazemore as well:
“One the road, Game 3, backs against the wall,” Bazemore said Sunday, “We’re going to let it all hang out, go out there and just play some hoops.”
