Akron, Ohio is the birth place to not one, but two NBA MVPs. We all know that LeBron James is the King of iron but what many did not know was that Steph Curry was born in the same hospital as LBJ.

LeBron and Curry were both born at Akron General Medical Center. Curry’s father, Dell, was a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers the year that Steph was born which led to him being delivered in Akron. The Curry family then moved to North Carolina where Steph and his siblings would be raised.
LeBron spent his life in Akron and has become their most famous citizen.
The two Akron-born players face off against one another in this year’s NBA Finals, which begin on Thursday.
