Fake music producer by day, terrorist by night. The MTV show ‘Catfish’ is famous for exposing liars, but who would’ve known that one guy from an episode, was making real life death threats to the President.
Via The Daily Mail:
Jerez Nehemiah Stone-Coleman, also known as ‘Kidd Cole’, allegedly called 911 eleven times to report threats between December 2014 and May 2015.
The calls included reports of bombs planted at Metro stations, plots to take hostages on a city bus and a plan to assassinate the president – and each threat turned out to be false.
Last year, a 19-year-old Stone-Coleman appeared on the MTV reality show ‘Catfish’, which uncovers online scams.
In the episode, a woman he met on Twitter accused him of pretending to be a music producer with Kanye West’s label before hiring her to book security and limos for press appearances.
The woman, Lucille, booked everything for him but when she asked Coleman for the money, he vanished and multiple people were left out of pocket, she explains on the show.
At the time he said he carried out the scam in an attempt to break into the industry.
‘I just wanted to get connected to the right people,’ he said, but then promised he would put in the hard work to achieve his dream of becoming a music producer.
He was arrested at his Southeast Washington home on Wednesday on charges of making terroristic threats and remains in custody, according to Metro Transit Police.
I don’t know any person in their right mind that would make a threat against the President and an entire metro system and think that they would get away with it. He should’ve learned after he got exposed on Catfish. The truth always comes out.
