Patrick Beverley has been out since March with a torn ligament in his left wrist. The Rockets have quietly rubbed on their rabbits foot hoping that Beverley would be able to return and play sometime during the playoffs. It now appears unlikely that Beverley will be able to suit up for the Rockets vs the Warriors. While Beverley is set to have his cast removed this week, he won’t be removing the pin in his wrist until June. Beverley is hoping that he can get cleared to play and the Rockets would love to have that perimeter defense against Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Even if he were limited in his play, his defense could make a huge difference.
