Teddy Bridgewater returned to Louisville Friday night to make one lucky young ladies dreams come true.
Ashley Davis was all ready for her prom — but had no idea that the Vikings and former Cardinals All-American signal caller was her date.
“This is like heaven, yeah,” Davis told WLKY. “Well, I was standing on the front porch, and Teddy came around the corner and I started crying and we just got pictures. I was on cloud nine.

Bridgewater explained station why he showed up as her prom date:
I felt that it was the right thing to do. It was a good thing to do. It kind of touched me when I first met her. How she kind of teared up and everything. It just showed that I made an impact here on the playing field on and off the playing field. Ashley … She is just a great girl and I am going to make sure she has a great time tonight.
