In the wake of the horrible race-driven church shooting that took place in Charleston, South Carolina, the world has rallied behind the families of the 9 victims.
The Carolina Panthers have been a crutch for the families of the Charleston Shooting. After the team donated $100,000 to the families of the victims, Cam Newton went to visit them.
Big ups to my man @CameronNewton for reaching out to me and coming to pay his respects to my bro! #ClassAct pic.twitter.com/JfYm0IJw3A

Cam Newton showed my boy @csingleton__2 and the family love.

Newton wanted to pay his respects to the victim’s families in person. He reached out to a friend of Chris Singleton, a Charleston Southern University baseball player who lost his mother in the shooting, to help put a smile on his face during this tough time.
It is really amazing to see players like Newton come out and show support to people who really need it. There are many celebrities that don’t care about the things going on in our world and Newton has proven to be the exact opposite. I have nothing but respect for Newton and the Panthers and the good they are doing in Charleston during this tragic period.
