I guess playing dodgeball while injured as an NFL rookie isn’t the smartest thing, just ask Denzel Perryman.
Perryman, a 1st year linebacker from the University of Miami, was criticized by San Diego Chargers coach Mike McCoy. The rookie Hurricane is dealing with a hamstring injury, and has yet to participate in Chargers’ OTA’s or workouts because of the injury.
Check out Perryman’s quick moves in the video below:
McCoy had this to say on the situation:
“It’s been discussed,” Chargers head coach Mike McCoy said, according to theSan Diego Union-Tribune. “That’s all I’m going to say. I’ve discussed it with him. That’s it. You’ve got to get past these tests here before you do all of that stuff.”
We will see if Perryman plays dodgeball in the future, or at least get healthy first.
