Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has been unable to land a legitimate star in free agency over the past few seasons. However, his fortunes may change as he’ll go after Dallas native LaMarcus Aldridge.
Future hall of famer Dirk Nowitzki is all for it.
“We’d love to have him,” Nowitzki said Tuesday at the Mavericks’ Hoop Camp presented by Academy Sports and Outdoors at Episcopal School of Dallas. “He’s great midrange shooter. He plays bigger than he is on the defensive end. He’s a good rebounder on both ends of the floor and on that left block, he’s a beast. So I mean, he’s a really, really good player.”
The San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers will be suitors for Aldridge’s services as well.
