TMZ is reporting that FSU head coach, Jimbo Fisher has officially begun the process to divorce his wife, Candi.
The couple has 2 children together and according The Tennessee Democrat; have both already retained lawyers.
“The couple are working with attorneys to mediate terms of a possible divorce, the Tallahassee Democrat has confirmed”, the Democrat reported.
Fisher, 49 has been the head coach of the Seminoles since replacing the beloved, long tenured Bobby Bowden, and led FSU to it’s third National Championship in 2013.
It’s also worth mentioning Fisher signed a $21 million contract extension with FSU in January, making him one of college football’s highest paid coaches.
Details on the couple’s split are scarce at the moment, but I’ll leave you to build your own conclusions.
