When it comes to college rivalries, whenever you can take a shot at your rival you never hesitate to take it. Especially if you can take the shot and use it as a recruiting ploy in the process.
It is no secret that Michigan wasn’t very good last year, while in state rival Michigan State went on to win Cotton Bowl over Baylor. Well Michigan State made sure they kicked their rival while they were down by putting the score from last year’s game on their bowl rings.
I’m not mad at this one bit. While some may not understand why they did it, like I said previously, recruiting never takes a day off, and this is something you can sell to recruits after Michigan’s terrible year on the field.
With that said, Michigan State better get their punches in while they can, because Jim Harbaugh will eventually have that program fixed and clicking on all cylinders.
