Marc Gasol will be a free agent in a few days, but he won’t running towards the bright lights and big city.
According to Mike Bresnahan of the L.A. Times, the younger of the Gasol brothers, has no interest in the Los Angeles Lakers.
Marc Gasol has no interest in the Lakers because of the uneasy last few years his brother spent with them, according to numerous people familiar with the situation. Versatile big man Greg Monroe, oft-injured Brook Lopez and his workman-like brother, Robin, are other alternatives at center.
Gasol has spent his entire career in Memphis with the Grizzlies.
