The Toronto Raptors entered this season believing they were a player away in the weak Eastern Conference. Now according to SheridanHoops.com’s Joe Kotoch, Toronto is looking to start over.
Kotoch reports that Toronto GM Masai Ujiri is “actively exploring” trades for All-Star point guard Kyle Lowry, shooting guard DeMar DeRozan, and center Jonas Valanciunas.
According to the report, Ujiri reportedly believes his team has peaked and is willing to “blow up” the roster, and start over.
DeRozan and Lowry both showed that they can put up individual numbers as long as they remain ball-dominant, but something will eventually have to give.
