Since the day that Steve Ballmer bought the Los Angeles Clippers (for $2 billion, straight cash homie), there have been rumors of the Washington native taking the franchise to Seattle.
While on a press run for the Clippers awful new uniforms and logo, Ballmer spoke on whether or not he would ever move the team out of Los Angeles. According to ESPN’s Arash Markazi, Ballmer says he has no plans of ever taking the team away from the City of Angels.
Steve Ballmer: "I bought a team in L.A. that will be in L.A. forever."

This is great for Clipper fans to hear… but still a little difficult to believe. No matter how many titles the Clippers win in the future, L.A. will always be a Laker town. But move the team to Seattle? Suddenly the Clips have the best fan base in the entire league.
It will be interesting to see if Ballmer sticks to his word or eventually makes the move up to the Northwest.
