After being pressured from several different angles following the brutal shootings in Charleston, South Carolina, Governor Nikki Haley ordered the Confederate Flag that flew at the capitol to be removed.
Following the decision, Steve Spurrier took to Twitter to support the decision to take down the flag.
The South Carolina football team, players and coaches strongly support Governor Haley's decision to remove the flag from the capitol.

It’s good to see things like this coming out publicly, I just wish Haley didn’t take so long to react instead of being proactive about the situation.
As soon as those pics of Dylann Roof came to light she should have been all over this thing from the jump. Better late than never I suppose.
