When Clowney was drafted, critics thought we were going to see some amazing defense from the Texans with Watts at the forefront, but with Clowney’s injury, that dream has been put on hold. After a disappointing rookie year, Clowney and his coaches are looking forward to that promise and is expecting him game one of the season against Kansas City.
“I think he’s gonna be there for the opening gameagainst Kansas City,” Bill O’Brien said. “I think he’s going to make it back, and I’m really looking forward to that. He’s working very hard to get back.”
Texans are looking to finally have a statement year. With Clowney back and the newly acquired Wilfork, maybe they will; at least for their defense.
