Cliff Alexander was a highly touted prospect out of high school, as he was a 5-star power forward ranked in the top five of the 2014 class. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned for Alexander at Kansas.
Alexander only averaged 7.1 points and 5.3 rebounds in Lawrence. To make matters worse, Alexander’s season was cut short after 28 games due to his mother breaking some NCAA violations.
However, after a good showing in the Summer League, Alexander is going to get a shot at the next level.
Congrats to @CAlexander on signing with the @trailblazers! Your first step to what will be a great story! pic.twitter.com/QxT6Kt7dsZ
