It will be interesting to see if the Nets actually grant Williams is release at this point. In my opinion it doesn’t bode well to keep a guy around that doesn’t really want to be there, but at the same time he is one of your best players and you don’t want to set a bad precedent with others in the locker room.
Williams is from Dallas, so it makes sense that he wants to end up there, I actually thought he would end up there when he left Utah before heading to the Nets.
