Floyd Mayweather believes that he shouldn’t have to pay Josie Harris some serious money in a lawsuit, because she confused his words about her alleged drug use.
Harris, the mother of two of Floyd’s sons, is suing the pound-for-pound for $20 million over defamation. The suit stems from an interview in which Floyd called her a “drug abuser” who had to be restrained during the 2010 domestic violence incident that led to his stint in jail.
Floyd Says he never called Josie an “abuser” during the interview, just someone who was “on drugs” at the time of the incident.
He wants her statement on him labeling her ” a drug abuser” dismissed from the records.
