Gordon was carted off the field after taking an awkward step near the wall on the warning track. Although two months isn’t a short amount of time to miss; Royals fans should be grateful the injury wasn’t even worse.
The four-time golden glove winner was voted to his third straight all-star game last weekend, and was supposed to start for his manager, Ned Yost; also named to the American League all-stars.
