This is a really scary deal. BYU signee Charles West is lucky to be alive after being shot at during a pickup basketball game in Texas.
You can see in the video how close the shooter got to West, and see what I mean.
Luckily West only suffered a shot to the arm and was able to be treated and released from the hospital.
I’m not sure what could have caused someone to pull out a gun during a pickup game, but this is a very scary incident and it isn’t the first time West has made the wrong kind of headlines off the field since signing with BYU.
