After a disappointing 2015 season and disappointing end to the past few seasons the Tigers have fired Dave Dombrowski. Tigers lost Matt Scherzer in the off-season for nothing in return. The two parties were far from a deal all of last season and Scherzer. At the trade deadline Dombrowski traded Cespedes and Price after just one season with the team.
