Million dollar athletes who are supposed to be the baddest men on the planet, seem to have an issue of answering phone calls when things get a little tough.
DeAndre Jordan with Mark Cuban and now Jason Pierre-Paul.
Pierre-Paul has spoken to Coughlin and GM Jerry Reese in recent days and texted with co-owner John Mara, he has still had nothing but silence for Tisch.
“It’s been very frustrating,” Tisch said in a statement released on the Giants’ website. “I’ve reached out to Jason. I’ve not heard back from Jason. I’m not going to hold that against him. I understand his situation is difficult, complicated, and I’m sure very confusing to him personally.”
“I think whatever issues he has to deal with, I’m sure are complicated, frustrating and difficult. My message to him is get better, we cheer for you. Ronnie (Barnes, the Giants VP of medical services) and our doctors have access to the best doctors, if not in New York City and the country, possibly the world. He should take advantage of that. Let us see you sooner than later. You’re not going to be judged, you’re going to be helped.”
It doesn’t seem like the Giants are holding a grudge, JPP should take advantage of the help they are offering.
