The good news for Lions WR Ryan Broyles is that he set he living standards to not excee $60K/year. This means he’s adequately planned for life after the NFL. However, getting cut is never fun as anyone can imagine.
Broyles was a 2nd round pick in the 2012 draft, but suffered an ACL injury in his rookie season followed by an Achilles injury the following year. Getting cut by the Lions doesn’t mean his NFL life is over, but, as stated before, at least he’s financially prepared.
