Marco Huck is no stranger to the boxing world. But in America, he is still trying to make a name for himself. In a recent interview with Black Sports Online, Huck did not hold anything back and expressed what he expects from the match against Krzysztof Glowacki.
1. What are you most looking forward to when you face off Glowacki on August 14?
I want to let out of my frustration in the ring. I’m looking to forward to smashing my opponent right in the face.
- How excited are you about your U.S. debut?
I’ve said it a couple of times now-I love America. I’m really looking forward to display my skills. I hope that I show that I’ll box my way to their heart.
- In a recent interview, you met with Dana White, who is President of the UFC and you spoke about a possible career change. Have you given it much thought?
I thought of being inside the ring is great. The image of being a brawler inside the ring is even better. Dana thought it might be a great idea to try to get me to join the UFC. From what I’ve seen, I can fight in any ring and against anybody.
- How have you shifted gears in your training for the fight against Glowacki?
I have changed quite a lot. I had a different coach and he had a different method of doing things. This is a great way to display my new set of skills. I’ve learned a lot in this new experience to show everybody what I’ve been up to in the past few weeks.
- What should we expect from your match on August 14?
You can expect a real spectacle. Everyone should tune in for a “Huck Time.”
