We’ve all seem the video of Dez Bryant and teammate Tyler Patmon little scuffle during practice over the weekend. Although camp fights are common, the two of them admit they let their emotions briefly get the best of them during a heated battle but cooler heads later prevailed. Dez and Patmon have handled their issues and are ready to move forward thanks to Tony Romo. Romo knows his window to win a championship is closing as well as how important Dez is for the success of Cowboys. After several teammates where unable to calm Dez, Romo got close enough to share a few unkind words to Dez.
Mike Fisher, Dallas Cowboys insider, got the inside scoop on what Romo told Dez that ultimately calmed him down.

Although I think camp fights are overrated, players can get hurt. I remember when Steve Smith, of the Baltimore Ravens, former member of the Carolina Panthers, broke the nose of one of his teammates during a camp fight.
I love Dez’s passion, desire and competitive nature but I’ve wondered since losing DeMarcus Ware who would grab his attention if he ever lost his cool. I guess Tony Romo has filled that void.
