Chris Singleton the son of Charleston Shooting Victim Sharonda Coleman-Singleton will throw out the first pitch at tonight Yankees game. Singleton was on the Today Show this morning when Yankees’ Alex Rodriguez, Brett Gardner and Dellin Betances delivered the news to him. Yankees’ twitter account later confirmed the announcement.

Sharonda Coleman-Singleton was one of the nine victims of the attack on Emmanuel AME Church. Chris Singleton is a baseball player for Charleston Southern going into his sophomore year with the team.
