Brittney Griner’s physical presences and name is the biggest the WNBA has seen since Lisa Leslie. Her 6’8″ frame is the ultimate intimidator for her much smaller competitors on the court. Her height and physical ability has help her win this year’s title of Defensive Player of the Year.

Griner, who had a domestic violence incident either this year with her then wife Glory Johnson, pulled a Drake with this one. She won the Defensive Player of the Year crown for the second year in a row making her the Back-to-Back champ. She swatted four blocks per game this season in only 30.7 minutes of action per game. She’s only 24-years-old and is expected to be in the DPOY runnings for years to come.
Griner’s hands are very similar in measurement to NBA’s great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who is 7’2″ tall. I’d hate to be on the other end of her hands. My sympathy goes out to her opponent on the court and to Glory Johnson. OUCH!!
