Last Week Tonight host John Oliver recently took on the dreaded Facebook privacy post you may have been seeing go up on peoples Facebook’s recently. You know, the ones declaring that their posts belong to them because so and so statute and ask for others to repost in order for them to tell Facebook that they are protected as well. It’s a post we’ve seen happening for years. It dulls down and comes back up randomly like it has recently. Well, John Oliver debunks this privacy Facebook post by comparing it to a sloth grabbing at a girls cleavage.

Every time I see one of those posts roll up on my timeline I wonder if people really believe that posting these things works or if they’re just in “just in case” mode. Well, now you know that it doesn’t work and hopefully they’ll stop believing those other posts where pages promise to give away millions to people who like and share a page. Actually maybe you should do it, “just in case”.
