Mark Wahlberg Shouts Out “Go Eagles” In Front of Pope (Video)

Was famed director and actor Mark Wahlberg trolling the Eagles on Saturday, or was really offering a shout of support?

As part of the Philadelphia leg of his trip, Pope Francis visited the Festival of Families at Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

Wahlberg was the host, and introduced former Eagles running back Herb Lusk, who in 1977 became the first NFL player to kneel and pray after scoring a touchdown.

After making the intro, Wahlberg also got in a quick, “Go Eagles.”!

Wahlberg, who’s from Boston, is a huge Patriots fan, but also portrayed Vince Papale in 2006’s Invincible, so it’s cool.
