After losing to the Green Bay Packers 31-23, Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte didn’t blame anyone on his current team. Instead Forte was encouraged with their fight to compete, something that didn’t happen a lot last year.
Could their will to fight have to do with former Bears Head Coach Marc Trestman?
Chicago Sun-Times writer Mark Potash tweeted Forte’s subliminal shots towards now Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator Trestman.
Matt Forte: "The mentality of this offense, which I'm proud of, is nobody had that stupid look on their face [when down 31-16] like before."

Matt Forte: "Before when something would happen, kind of saying that the game is lost already when there's time left. … We kept fighting."

Bears guard also chimed in, speaking his thoughts on former offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer.
Matt Slauson: "Had this been the past, we would have packed it in. That just goes to show the mentality this staff is instilling in us."

#Bears G Matt Slauson added it's good "to have a coordinator that actually trusts us to run, because we have the best back in the game."

Forte had a HUGE day for the Bears touching the ball 24 times for a 141 yards on the ground and a score. The Bears workhorse also caught 5 catches for 25 yards, which I’m sure Forte fantasy owners were thrilled about.
The Bears played well in this game, and if it wasn’t for a late Jay Cutler interception had a chance at coming out with a victory.
