Oregon Vernon Adams Has Injured Index Finger on Throwing Hand

Oregon Ducks new quarterback Vernon Adams had a rough season opening. In addition to being knocked it of the game against Eastern Washington it seems the QB hurt his right index finger. ESPN brings the details.

Adams has been icing his hand, according to the source, and intends to play Saturday in the seventh-ranked Ducks’ showdown with No. 5 Michigan State. The source told ESPN that Adams suffered the finger injury in Oregon’s season-opening victory against Eastern Washington

Oregon is going to need Adams to be great against Michigan State. Its going to be a chilly night in East Lansing so we’ll see how much this affects Adams.
