Although former NFL quarterback David Carr may have helped now Oakland Raiders quarterback Derek Carr make it to the league, he wasn’t much help to him in their younger days.
David and Derek Carr are 12 years a part and brothers are already known to be rough so you can only expect for them to have an adventurous childhood.
In an interview on the Dan Le Batard Show, Carr explained how David, the oldest of three football playing brothers, pranked Derek, who was 10-or-11 years old at the time.
Davide got him to slap middle brother Darren, a 6-foot-6, 320-pound defensive lineman, in the face.
Which didn’t bring any positive results for young Derek.
“Dave didn’t even help me,” Derek said. “He just watched Darren grab me and throw me through the wall.”
Looks like in their household brothers are really ‘going to be brothers,’ including all the fights, and pranks.
