Ronda Rousey is not one to bite her tongue on major issues. We’ve seen her stand up against Floyd Mayweather’s domestic violence history and now she’s taking on the NSAC’s suspension of Nick Diaz.
“It’s so not right for him to be suspended five years for marijuana,” she said. “I’m against them testing for weed at all. It’s not a performance-enhancing drug. It has nothing to do with athletic competition. It’s only tested for political reasons.”
It’s important to mention that Ronda and the Diaz brothers have been friends for quite some time but she still makes valid points. It seems as though the general consensus is that the NSAC was much too harsh and that Diaz has a strong case for an appeal.
