Shaquille O’Neal’s son Shareef is starting to develop his own name and he showcased his talents in a recent AAU tourney in Las Vegas.
This is a different type of O’Neal, not the big man his father Shaq was, but Shareef is developing into an elite wing prospect.
Shareef is entering his sophomore season and had an impressive summer showing off his two-way ability with his athleticism all summer to garner two scholarship offers from USC and UCLA.

In attendance was LSU Tigers Head Coach Johnny Jones to check out Shareef’s strong showing in Vegas. Coach Jones is back to recruiting after his impressive incoming recruiting class that includes star recruit Ben Simmons.
More and more coaches will be coming to see Shareef, and if he develops a reliable shooting touch from the perimeter watch out. He has already shown off his wingspan to defend and run in transition, but working on his shooting mechanics will be key.
Shaq might be a future agent as Shareef continues to draw more and more attention from recruiting colleges.
